Creating Video Game Pins & Gamer Merch For Devs, Streamers & Fans
The gaming community is full of the most passionate and observant groups of people on the planet.
Gamers are detail-obsessed, they notice everything and demand perfection in their games. So whether we’re creating custom pin badges for a AAA developer or indie game studios, keepsake coins for Twitch streamers, or fan-created merch for independent Etsy shops, we strive to create custom merch that meets the high standards of gamers everywhere.
Take a look at some of the industry giants we’ve worked with and learn how we can help you too.
Konami - Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Pins
When Konami released the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, they came to us for help producing a set of video game soft enamel pins featuring some of the game’s iconic vehicles.
These pin badges were designed to reflect the mechanical detail fans already associate with the legendary Metal Gear series. The silhouettes, proportions, and plating choices all needed to feel accurate to the source material rather than stylised or simplified. We paired the pins with branded backing cards that mirrored the official release artwork, giving them the feel of a proper collector item rather than standard promotional merch.
We love working on this kind of project, not only because we’re a team full of gamers, but also because we get to showcase our expertise in recreating some of the world’s most recognizable products with near-perfect accuracy and gamer-level quality.
Riot Games Badges & Socks - Play Club Merch
Riot Games (the game studio behind League of Legends) launched Play Club in 2024. Play Club is a community-focused initiative that celebrates video games and their players at in-person gaming events. These regular meetups bring together players of all skill levels through casual games, 1v1 challenges, esports watch parties like VCT and Worlds, and themed activities, all designed to build community and reward participation with exclusive merch.
For this project, we created Riot Games merch, including Play Club branded socks (with header card) and supporting hard enamel pins with backing card. The direction was clean and confident, using strong color and simple branding that players would recognise in an instant.
The result is custom merch that feels like part of the brand itself.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Coins for Ubisoft
As the dev teams working on Assassin’s Creed Shadows at Ubisoft Leamington, Ubisoft Reflections, and the Anvil Development Team celebrated the release of their award-winning game, we were contacted to help them produce a double-sided enamel coin to mark the occasion.
These coins were created as internal recognition pieces tied to the game’s release and the subsequent closure of their offices. The design features the Assassin’s insignia and development team branding, finished with a glitter enamel background to give the coins presence and weight and set them apart from traditional coins.
Unlike retail merch, these coins are about marking a moment in time that will live long in the memory of those involved.
Game Developers Pins & Video Game Company Lanyards
Beyond launches, gaming studios often need everyday branded items that carry through offices, events, and industry spaces.
Custom pin badges are often used internally to represent teams, projects, or milestones, and they’re a cost-effective product that, let’s be honest, everybody loves.
Custom lanyards are practical items that double as a way to boost brand visibility at the office, events, and gaming conventions. In this space, consistency matters. Colours, finishes, and typography all need to align with the wider brand so that everything feels connected.
Even something as functional as a lanyard can carry a strong visual identity when treated properly.
Fan-Created Video Game Pins & Keyrings
Not all gaming merch starts with a studio. A large part of the space is driven by fans creating their own designs and selling them to niche communities and on Etsy stores. We’ve created plenty of pin sets and collaborations for independent creators because people have, do, and always will buy pin badges.
We regularly produce fan-created video game pins and keyrings based on original artwork, references to retro games, and inside jokes and memes that only specific audiences understand. These projects tend to focus heavily on color, character, and clarity so that the final product matches the creator’s original idea as closely as possible.
For many creators, this is the first step into building a product range that can be sold online or at events.
YouTuber & Twitch Streamer Big Daddy Den Anniversary Coins
Gamers and creators have been building audiences that rival traditional media to share their love of video games, walkthroughs and tutorials, and competitive gameplay footage with their followers. Oftentimes, these streamers create custom merch to sell and give away to solidify the communities they’ve built.
We worked with popular streamer Big Daddy Den to produce his annual anniversary custom coins celebrating milestones across YouTube and Twitch, where he has built an audience of over 125,000 gamers who love watching his content.
We designed his coins as commemorative pieces rather than standard merchandise. The focus was on marking a moment in the creator’s journey, giving the audience something tangible that represents their connection to that milestone. His designs translate so beautifully to 3D coins that we’ve used photos of his products on a number of occasions as some of the finest examples of what you can do with custom coins.
Whether it is video game enamel pins, commemorative coins, studio lanyards, or full product ranges, the approach is the same. Your merch needs to feel like it belongs to the audience it is made for, and that’s where we come in.
